From your spot at River’s End, stroll the half-mile to Tybee Island (Savannah’s Beach) facing east onto the Atlantic Ocean. This vacation spot has ruled since the late 1800s. The five miles of beach are spacious, clean and lapped with warm, gentle waves. You can easily walk on, and at low tide, bike on the sand that settled down from the Appalachian Mountains.
The South Beach is next to the main business district of Tybee Island. It features The Tybee Pier and Pavilion a very popular place. Mid Beach, North Beach, Savannah River Beach and Back River Beach round out the large beach area.
All full and the more spacious preferred hookups include water, 30/50 amp electrical service, sewer and standard cable. Almost any type or rig, camper, travel trailer, etc. can be accommodated.
The 400 sq. ft. cabins sleep up to six and contain a full-size bed and two twin sized bunkbeds in a private bedroom, a bathroom, a TV with cable, refrigerator, microwave, heat and air, sink and an enclosed screen porch with a picnic table.
The nine tent campsites include a campfire ring, picnic table and 12’ x 20’ tent pad. All campers have total access to River’s End many amenities!
